I bought this blade upon recommendation from Bosch to cut melamine coated particle board. Cutting plywood yields the same results. It works great for this application. The blade entry side finishes perfectly with no chipping, and the blade exit side has mimimal chipping. By the way, the Vermont American/Bosch technical support was outstanding. I wrote a question to their e-mail address, and someone called me to discuss my application in detail to make sure that the blade they recommended would meet my needs.
